KRX vs Corthe vs Dermathod: My Korean Skincare Brand Guide

KRX, Corthe and Dermathod each fill a different role in my shop. I choose among them based on the individual formula and the client's routine, not because Korean skincare as a category is automatically gentler, more advanced or more effective than Western skincare.

KRX

I use KRX when I want approachable Korean formulas across hydration, brightening and routine-building. Shop the KRX collection.

Corthe

Corthe is one of my go-to brands for simple moisturizers, toners and targeted formulas that fit easily into acne-prone, dry or sensitive-feeling routines. Shop Corthe.

Dermathod

Dermathod is where I look for more treatment-oriented cosmetic formats, including cleansers, barrier-focused creams and the O2 Tox spicule product. Shop Dermathod.

What I Like About Korean Skincare

I like the variety of textures, hydrating layers and ingredient combinations available from Korean manufacturers. I do not claim that Korea invented barrier repair, that multi-step layering is biologically superior to one well-formulated moisturizer, or that emerging ingredients such as exosomes, PDRN, NMN or NAD+ are automatically proven because they appear in Korean products.

How I Choose

I look at the full formula, how the product feels, where it fits in a routine and whether its claims match what a cosmetic can reasonably do. Country of origin is part of the story, not proof of efficacy.
